PDF download è un plugin gratuito per la gestione di file PDF molto apprezzato dagli utenti Firefox e Flock.
La nuova versione 2.0 è dotata della funzione "Web to PDF" che consente di inviare una qualsiasi pagina Web come allegato email in formato PDF. In alternativa, è possibile salvare la pagina Web in formato PDF sul PC.
A differenza di altri tool, PDF Download converte le pagine web in formato PDF on-line riducendo drasticamente i tempi di attesa.
A conversione avvenuta il file PDF viene direttamente spedito nella casella di posta scelta.

OpenID è uno standard aperto inventato da Brad Fitzpatrick creatore di LiveJournal che consente di accedere in modo facile e sicuro senza login e password ai nostri siti preferiti, che supportano il protocollo OpenID, utilizzando un indirizzo URL del tipo http://towerlight2002.myopenid.com/ o l' URL del nostro sito/blog.
Ciò significa meno nomi utente e password da ricordare e meno tempo perso per l'iscrizione ai nuovi siti.
Un solo account contiene le vostre informazioni personali, ossia con un unico sistema di login e password presso un provider di OpenID, si forniscono in modo sicuro le credenziali di autenticazione per entrare rapidamente nei nostri siti preferiti ed in tutti quelli nuovi che supportano ovviamente il protocollo OpenID.

In questi giorni ho provveduto all' aggiornamento del blog alla nuova versione di Worpress 2.5 in Italiano.
Alcuni plug-in sono diventati instabili e disabilitati, il tema è stato aggiornato ad una versione compatibile e molte personalizzazioni sono andate perse.
Qua una lista dei plugin in uso.

Mi scuso fin d' ora per i disagi.
